Yelle Allah Katbo
Yelle Allah Katbo (What God Wrote) is a deeply personal exploration of my mother's journey from Syria to America—her early marriage, forced relocation, and eventual escape—all told through the voices of the women in my family. This 9.25" x 11.5" hardcover book is read from right to left, honoring the traditional format of Arabic books. While unfamiliar to English readers, this decision was intentional: to create a sense of comfort, authenticity, and cultural recognition for my family, who navigate both Arabic and English worlds.
The book is encased in a green leather-bound cover, screen printed in gold with the phrase “What God Wrote ‘Will Happen’”—a nod to the cultural phrase often used to explain fate. Inside, it features a layered material experience, combining 80 lb glossy coated paper and delicate 30 lb translucent sheets to mirror the fragile yet enduring nature of memory, displacement, and resilience.
Each spread weaves together photographs from my interviews and translated quotes that highlight pivotal moments of conversation, forming a visual and emotional narrative about migration, motherhood, and survival. Yelle Allah Katbo is both an archive and an offering—designed for my family, by one of their own.

Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts Studio
For this freelance project, I helped Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts elevate their brand to better reflect their timeless discipline and tradition. By creating a comprehensive rebrand, I delivered a new visual identity that will serve them for years to come.
Deliverables included a new color palette and two distinct logo designs. I also designed diploma templates and a complete Brand Guideline document to ensure consistency. Using Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, I brought their new brand to life, creating a modern and professional image that sets them apart from the competition.

Schneider Electric
I began my journey at Schneider Electric as a 2023 summer intern, where I expanded my skills in data visualization and product design. As the sole intern with a background in art and design, I was able to bring a unique visual perspective to a range of cross-functional projects. This led to my work being featured at the NVIDIA GTC Conference in Paris.
During my internship, I designed and prototyped user-facing materials using Figma and Adobe Illustrator, including:
- A landing page tailored for data center consultants
- Visualizations for complex data center center information
- Brochures and internal software documentation
- UX and UI design improvements for the IT Design CFD software
All deliverables were developed in alignment with Schneider Electric's brand guidelines.
Following the internship, I transitioned into a full-time design role, where I continue to contribute to impactful, user-centered solutions across the company.

Lunar Surface Film Festival
If you could attend a film festival on the moon, would you? If it’s anything like Lunar Surface Film Fest, you wouldn’t have to ask me twice. Inspired by Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, this festival imagines a future where sci-fi classics illuminate the craters of the moon.
From the moment you receive your silver suitcase in the mail, the world of Lunar Surface Film Fest unfolds. Inside, laser-etched sheet metal passes grant you access to screenings under the lunar sky. A three-ring bound program—printed on mixed paper types—echoes vintage NASA manuals, guiding you through the festival’s events.
A fabric flag, emblazoned with the festival’s logo, is ready to be staked into your own piece of lunar terrain, mirroring the iconic American flag left behind by Apollo astronauts.
This project includes a complete brand identity system—logo, palette, typography, printed materials, and festival ephemera to bring Lunar Surface Film Fest to life.
After working on this, I might just start scouting locations for an opening night...

What's The Dill?
What’s The Dill? is a concept app designed to help users save money while grocery shopping—without the stress. The app makes it easy to create a grocery list, compare real-time prices across nearby stores, and find the best value—aka, the best dill.
Users can locate grocery stores in their area, build and manage shopping lists, browse by category (like dairy or meat & seafood), and even swap out items to save more money. The experience is built around convenience, clarity, and cost-saving—turning a routine errand into a smart, strategic task.
This project explores UX/UI solutions for budget-conscious shoppers, blending intuitive design with a playful tone to make grocery planning easier and more rewarding.

Beit Ommii
Beit Ommii (My Mother’s House) is a Syrian restaurant concept serving tapa-style traditional dishes—the way mom makes them. It’s less about dining out, more about coming home.
The visual identity draws from the textures of a Syrian kitchen—warm tones, aged metals, olive greens, and handwritten marks that feel passed down. The brand speaks softly, like a mother offering more food before you even ask.
Inspired by the warmth of a family table and the rhythm of shared meals, the menu invites you to eat with your hands, pass plates around, and stay a little longer.
Beit Ommii is more than a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Syrian kitchens, to mothers who cook without recipes, and to the stories we carry in every dish. This branding project honors the way Syrian mothers cook, host, and nourish—with care, creativity, and a love that can’t be measured in tablespoons. The kind of meals you don’t forget, even after the table’s cleared.
